@mom Hi mom, This picture was taken last week at a place called Glacial Heritage Preserve, a prairie restoration site that I took some field ecology students to last Friday on the Mima prairie. The flower is common camas, Cammasia quamash, probably ssp. beviflora but I'm not sure since their inflorescence were so immature. It was a good day.

Where was the picture taken? Love the flower, reminds me of early spring in the mountains when you were younger! You used to lay down in those kinds of meadows and watch the clouds.
